In 1980, Gina embarked on a new chapter by moving to Lima, the capital of Peru, to pursue a comprehensive five-year program in Financial Accounting at UPIGV University. Her dedication and hard work culminated in the attainment of a bachelor’s degree in 1986. Demonstrating her commitment to excellence, she successfully cleared the CPA BAR exam and officially earned the title of Certified Public Accountant on March 25, 1987.

From March 1987 to January 2003, Gina owned and operated her own Accounting Services Firm. During this prolific period, she provided invaluable support to a diverse spectrum of Small and Medium Businesses, showcasing her proficiency in financial management. Gina's personal journey took an exciting turn in September 2002 when she married a resident of St. Mary's County.

Following this significant milestone, she relocated to this picturesque city on February 1, 2003. Eager to adapt to the American financial landscape, Gina enrolled in courses at the College of Southern Maryland, where she delved into Business Law and the preparation of Income Taxes in the USA. Since January 2008, Gina has found fulfillment as a valued member of Mary Slade's team at Bookkeeping by Blanche. Armed with her extensive knowledge and experience, she is dedicated to assisting clients, leveraging the insights she has gained over the years. Gina's pursuit of professional growth led her to specialize in various domains. In 1997, she earned a specialization in Financial Audit from the Accounting Public College in Lima, Peru.

The following year, in 1998, she added to her expertise by achieving the distinction of a Judicial Countable Expert through the same institution. With a journey marked by dedication, continuous learning, and unwavering commitment, Gina Perez is poised to make a lasting impact in the world of accounting and financial management.
